The enquiry form

The form on the contact page does not send anything to us or to anyone else. It composes a message and hands it to the email application on your own device, which is why you can attach photographs to it. Nothing you type is stored on this website, and nothing leaves your device until you press send in your own email app.

What happens to your email once we have it

It arrives in the Cleaning Out My Closet mailbox and is read by a person at Sammy Leigh Vintage. We keep it so that we can reply and, if a handover happens, so we have a record of where a piece came from. We do not sell, rent or share contact details with anyone, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.

If you would like your correspondence deleted, write to hello@cleaningoutmycloset.org and we will do it.

Fonts and hosting

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font file. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs of requests. Neither is used by us to build a profile of anyone, and we run no analytics on this site.

Estate and organizer enquiries

We never ask a firm for a client, member or donor list, and we will decline one if it is offered. If you are a professional working with a family, you stay between us and them until they decide otherwise.
